In the Tang dynasty, tea-drinking was already a common practice.
The manner was vastly different from nowadays.
Tea-drinking was considered by literati to be a way of life, of socializing, of preaching ideas and virtues.
It was an indispensable part of their lives.
With the publication of “The Classic of Tea” by LuYu, the culture of tea and its consumption had readed an all time high.
